How TGTL processes personal data when you use the website, create an account, contact us or purchase digital access.

Last updated: September 11, 2026

1. Data controller

The controller is Luis Javier Sánchez Astillero, trading as The Green Traffic Light. Tax identification number: 48998144W. Address: Plaza de Santander, 4, 28943 Fuenlabrada, Madrid, Spain.

Privacy enquiries: info@tgtl.es.

2. Personal data we process

Depending on how you use TGTL, we may process your name, email address, account credentials and profile details; billing and order information; payment status and transaction references; course enrolment, progress and quiz activity; messages sent through the contact form; and technical information such as IP address, browser, device, security logs and cookie identifiers.

Payment card details are handled by the payment provider and are not intended to be stored by TGTL in full.

3. How we collect data

We collect information directly from you when you register, use My Account, place an order, request a password reset, complete a course or contact us. Some technical data is generated automatically when the website and its security, checkout or embedded-media functions load.

4. Purposes and legal bases

  • To create and administer your account, provide course access and process orders: performance of a contract.
  • To issue invoices, meet accounting obligations and respond to lawful requests: legal obligation.
  • To secure the website, prevent fraud, troubleshoot and provide support: legitimate interests, balanced against your rights.
  • To use non-essential cookies, analytics or marketing technologies where introduced: your consent, requested before those technologies are activated.

5. Recipients and processors

Data may be accessed by service providers needed to operate TGTL, such as hosting and infrastructure providers, WordPress/WooCommerce service components, LearnDash, payment providers made available at checkout (including Stripe and PayPal where enabled), email delivery providers, security providers and embedded-media providers such as YouTube. Providers process data only for their services and under appropriate contractual arrangements where required.

6. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where a transfer is made, TGTL will rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, together with any supplementary measures required by law.

7. Retention

We keep account and transaction records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute-resolution obligations. Support messages are kept only as long as reasonably necessary. Exact retention periods should be confirmed in TGTL’s internal retention schedule.

8. Your rights

Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or objection, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may exercise your rights by emailing info@tgtl.es. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Authority (AEPD) or another competent supervisory authority.

9. Security and children

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, but no internet transmission is completely secure. TGTL is intended for people legally able to use the service; if you believe a child has provided data, contact us so that we can assess and take appropriate action.
