(51143) Where can drivers of delivery services drive without wearing seat belt?
Listen to your instructor’s explanation
In this question, “Nowhere” refers to the former exemption specifically for delivery work. From 1 October 2026, making deliveries no longer gives a driver an exemption from wearing a seat belt, even when stops are close together in a built-up area.
The general exemptions in Article 119.1 still apply: drivers while reversing or parking, and people holding a valid medical exemption certificate. These exemptions are not based on working as a delivery driver.
